Régis Bador
Regis has been a Development Strategy Advisor in the shrimp industry since 2022, consulting for companies in France, the USA, Ecuador, Panama, and Australia. Previously, from 2018 to 2022, he served as Senior Advisor at Cargill Animal Nutrition Technologies, USA, focusing on the iQuatic digital platform's global development, the iQuatic Academy, and the iQuatic Insights Explorer Team. Between 2016 and 2017, he was the General Manager at AQ1 Systems Panamá, part of AQ1 Systems Australia, responsible for marketing and servicing acoustic monitoring technology for shrimp feeding in Latin America and the US. From 2012 to 2016, he founded and managed Innov’Aquaculture Sarl in New Caledonia.
Regis began his aquaculture career in 1983 as a researcher at IFREMER in Tahiti and Paris. He spent 11 years in New Caledonia, managing SODACAL S.A., the largest farm there, and leading Ecloserie de Mara, SAS, focusing on modernizing hatchery technology. He also worked with CENIACUA in various locations including Cartagena, Bogotá, Tumaco, and Madagascar.
