At Organicin, that means doing the work to make precise biological tools practical, reliable, and accessible. Building the processes and partnerships to get there is the challenge I want to take on.

Griffin O’Driscoll is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Organicin Scientific, responsible for company strategy, partnerships, and translating the CinThesis platform into products for animal health and aquaculture. He brings a background in biochemistry, commercialization, and go-to-market execution for emerging life science technologies. Griffin holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Management Studies from Boston University.

Why Organicin

I see bacteriocins as a window into how bacteria compete, coexist, and evolve. At Organicin, we can study those molecules to uncover bacterial interactions and ecological relationships that have remained hidden. What excites me is the chance to discover new biology while using that understanding to develop more precise antimicrobials.

Peg Riley, Ph.D., is a microbiologist and evolutionary biologist whose work has shaped the modern understanding of bacteriocins and microbial competition. Before co-founding Organicin Scientific, she served as a Professor of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where her research focused on antimicrobial peptides, microbial ecology, and pathogen evolution. Earlier in her career, she held faculty positions and research fellowships across leading institutions. Peg earned her Ph.D. from Harvard University and is internationally recognized for pioneering work on targeted antimicrobial approaches that preserve microbiome health.

Why Organicin

I see the microbiome as part of the human body: a distributed organ, as integral to our health as the immune system. For millennia, we have treated disease without understanding this part of ourselves. I started Organicin to use advanced technologies to understand it, care for it, and bring it into the practice of medicine.

Mathew Mitchell is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Organicin Scientific, where he leads development of the CinThesis discovery engine and the company’s bacteriocin design strategy. His work sits at the intersection of biophysics, computation, and translational microbiology, with a focus on building practical tools for precision antimicrobials. Mathew earned a master’s degree in Biophysics from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing his MD at Drexel University; he is also a Fulbright Scholar.

Her work has focused on advancing diagnostics, therapeutics, and field support for producers while maintaining high standards of animal welfare. Diane holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Joe Crabb is a scientific advisor to Organicin Scientific with deep experience in microbial pathogenesis, biologics, and R&D leadership in industry. Over his career he has served as Chief Scientific Officer, Vice President of Research and Development, and Chair of the Board at a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, while contributing to national advisory panels and peer review committees. Joe earned his PhD in Biochemistry from Dartmouth Medical School and completed postdoctoral training in microbial pathogenesis at Harvard Medical School, where he also held a faculty appointment.

Regis Bador is a shrimp industry advisor to Organicin Scientific, bringing decades of experience across hatchery management, farm operations, digital feeding technologies, and global technical services. He has held leadership roles at Cargill Animal Nutrition Technologies, AQ1 Systems, Innov’Aquaculture, and SODACAL, and began his aquaculture career as a researcher with IFREMER. Regis advises Organicin on practical deployment of new health tools in intensive shrimp production systems worldwide.
